In this day and age, when every patch of earth has been explored, we are on the move more than ever to access new spaces. We travel in hopes of finding escape from ordinary routine. Welcome to GABRIUM, the hotel that invites you to embark on imaginary journeys in all facets!
Being open for the unknown
Experience more of the world by having an open mind and open eyes. Even the members of the Order who were trained here in St. Gabriel, intensely studying the many cultures, followed their yearning for faraway places. You can sense this spirit throughout GABRIUM.
A place for celebrating, meeting, living
The building wing, under a preservation order, was carefully revitalized and converted to a hotel business in the space of three years. Many of the historic originals, such as the cloister or the old ballroom, have been preserved. Since March 2018, the gates of GABRIUM have been wide open for seminar guests, event visitors, wedding parties, those hungry for lunch, travellers and those looking for peace and quiet.
Encounter new cultures
The guest will come across artefacts and quotes from faraway countries throughout the hotel. They invite time and again to interesting explorations. The GABRIUM design concept relates to the Order and its activities throughout the world.
Attentiveness at all levels
Respectful interpersonal dealings and the conservation of resources of our Earth are important to us. The using of upcycling products, cooperation with local producers or power generation from our own photovoltaic system – we put great emphasis on taking effective measures for sustainable improvements.
